Western Woodlands
The fauna of the Western Woodlands is mostly the same as the nearby grasslands, home to many large dinosaurs. Common sights include Ceratosaurus, Tyrannosaurus, Triceratops, and Camarasaurus. Species like Kentrosaurus and Allosaurus once lived here, but are now found further north. Due to being near the coast, the Western Woodland is frequently hit by large storms. In 2014, a devastating wildfire halted our research for many years. Only recently have we begun to collect data on this area again.
